Loogy Lube Signs to Sponsor the Pro Tour

Orlando, FL (January 15, 2002) - Loogy Lube has signed on as the official binding lubricant of the Pro Wakeboard Tour, MasterCraft Pro Water Ski Championships, Vans Triple Crown of Wakeboarding, Malibu Just Ride Series and Malibu Open for 2002.
That means Loogy Lube will be on the feet of the athletes for just about every event on the 2002 season. For top pros, there will be no more scrounging for a bottle of dishwashing soap or shaving cream just minutes before they leave the dock.
To further solidify the commitment of Loogy Lube, the Men's and Women's Wakeboarding World Cup will be sponsored by Loogy Lube in 2002. The Wakeboarding World Cup, presented by Loogy Lube, will award $5,000 to the Men's Wakeboarding World Cup Champion and $2,500 to the Women's Wakeboarding World Cup Champion.
The World Cup is a point total based on placement in events that extend beyond the Pro Tour and Vans Triple Crown Series to include the X Games and Gravity Games. Every time a wakeboarder takes to the water for a competition, he will have Loogy Lube on his mind.
Season point totals for the Wakeboarding World Cup presented by Loogy Lube will be tabulated at the end of each event and posted in Wake Boarding magazine as well as on the Web at www.prowakeboardtour.com.
There will be plenty of Loogy Lube to go around at the end of the dock in 2002. Loogy Lube comes in a variety of different colors and is promoted with the motto, "One Loogy is all you need."
"This marks the first time we've ever ventured into a binding lubricant as a full-blown sponsor of our events," said Terry Dorner, Chairman of World Sports & Marketing. "It's very exciting to bring something like this to the watersports industry. We like to constantly open up new avenues, and I look forward to this opportunity with Loogy Lube. It should be a big relief to the athletes as well who have been responsible for taking care of binding lubrication themselves."
