Widwest Wake Fest -- UPDATE

Just wanted to give everyone a quick update in regards to MidWest Wake Fest –2002. If you have not heard about MidWest Wake Fest it is a huge wakeboard gathering that includes: product demos, contests, socializing, etc. This event has roots dating back to 1998 and for the current year will be located in Ottawa, Illinois on the beautiful Illinois River. It is going to be huge!

If you have not been to the website in awhile you may want to consider checking it out . . new items include:

- Accommodations page – MWWF hotels have been selected and are ready for those “non-campers” to make their reservations. Book your rooms now since blocks can only be reserved for a limited time. Camping rates have been finalized and will be put on the site in the near future.

- What’s New page – Check out some of the aerial pictures that were recently taken by Bob Spratt. They really show some of the beauty of the water we will call home for the weekend of July 19-21. Let us know what you think on the Roll Call / Discussion page described below.

- Roll Call / Discussion page – Matt Huels has put together a little discussion board for MWWF attendees use. I recommend viewing it using the “Summary View” option. It takes a little to get used to navigating within the discussion board . . . but it will serve as a great tool for MWWF participants to coordinate gatherings, hotel arrangements, boat arrangements, etc.


Thanks to all that have shown interest in this event so far. This event is being organized for you. . .the riders. We guarantee a great time. . . and look forward to seeing everyone there. Updates will be provided as we move forward to let everyone know more of the event specifics (times, demo product available, etc.).
