WakeTV #12, #13

Just wanted to take a moment to let everyone know what's happening at WAKEtv. We are on-schedule to release WAKEtv Issues #12 and #13 The All WipeOut Special Issue packaged together and delivered to the WAKEtv subscribers and dealers in May2002.

At this time, Issue #13 is already edited. We worked all winter on #13 The All WipeOut Special Issue and it shows over 500 different wakeboarding wipeouts, crashes and ejections! Plus we have the Top 25 Worst Ever WAKEtv Wipeout Countdown at the end, followed by footage of some of the best and biggest tricks in WAKEtv history. Saturday night, we held a Sneak Preview of Issue #13 at WakeBreak 2002 and it was pretty much unanimous what the crowd was saying afterwards. WAKEtv is awesome, Issue #13 is absolutely insane and "Could we play that again?"

We are about half-way finished with Issue #12 at this point. Thanks to Bucky and Mike in Texas for the awesome kiteboarding segment they shot and sent to WAKEtv, the clips and interviews are perfect and they did a great job representing the Texas kiteboarding scene. We'll show some amazing kiteboarders along with our footage from Wakestock 2001, Waketoberfest 2001, WakeBreak 2002 and much more. WAKEtv Issue #12 will be packed full of coverage from California, Canada and Texas. Wakeskating, kiteboarding,
freeriding, even a wakepark built in a ditch where they pull the riders with 4X4's, if it's wakeboarding and it happens and it's caught on tape, you'll probably see it on the next WAKEtv. Thanks to Brett van den Huvel and his band Citizen's Arrest, they'll also be heard in WAKEtv #12. It's great to hear killer music made by wakeboarders, thanks Brett!

We are currently on schedule for the May 2002 simul-release of both WAKEtv Issues #12 and #13. I'm not sure when the last time any company released two hours of edited wakeboard coverage at once, but I sure hope that this will get everyone pretty excited right at the beginning of the season. This season, "Ride Safe, Go Big!!"
