CWB is happy to announce the signing of Chris Law and Laura Lohrmann. Also the resigning of Mark Kenney. Chris was the Rookie of the year in 2001 and finished 9th in the tour standing and 4th in the Triple Crown standings, he won't be letting up in 2002. With Marie Botved expecting a new family member, we signed Laura Lohrman, who finished in the top 10 of Pro women. Marie is still part of our team but will be busy taking care of things at home. Laura also joins Sonja Scheffler. Mark Kenney who has been blazing in what we call our off season, is a very serious threat after winning the Asian ESPN XGames. Mark also did well in New Zealand and at his home country of Australia during the recent Planet & Moomba events. He will be competing here in the United States for our Pro Tour starting in May. Also from Australia, Scotty Broome is a fantastic new addition to CWB and you will be seeing more of him in the future with his riding style. CWB rider Bunyalo Jumruang of Thailand is back on the team for 2002. Bunyalo cemented his position as one of the top Asian riders by taking 6th at the 2002 ESPN Asian X Games. The above pro's will join Zane Schwenk, Joel Cahill, Rob Struharik, Joey Arcisz (2001 Jr Men overall Champion) and Matt Lockwood.
New additions to our National Team are Jeff House-TN, Ben Carley-MN. Jeff finished 2nd overall in Super Grom in 2001 and will be a freshman in the Jr Men series. Ben, comes to us after dominating the INT league for the last 3 years, he too will be in Jr men series. Jeff and Ben will join an awesome group of other Jr Men who made of 40% of the final top 10 in 2001, Chris Kolb-5th, Derek Grasman-8th, Brad Allen-9th(Joey Arcisz finished 1st, but has moved to pro for 2002) and Reed Hanson. CWB will continue to focus on our National Team as a key part of our marketing efforts for 2002. More to come soon!
