(Merced, CA) – Darin Shapiro is using Malibu Boats exclusively to provide World Champion caliber instruction at his "Ride the Spot" wakeboard camp in Orlando, FL.
“The Spot exclusively uses a fully weighted Malibu Wakesetter VLX and a Wakesetter LSV to help progress students’ riding.” Shapiro elaborated, “These wakes couldn’t possibly be any better.”
Guests of The Spot can spend three sessions a day behind a 2003 Wakesetter VLX or a brand new 2004 Wakesetter LSV soaking up professional instruction from a World Champion. Shapiro utilizes instruction techniques he has developed during his illustrious career to teach the beginning as well as the advanced rider. All of this takes a place on a private lake completely shielded from wind. Water conditions are butter almost 100% of the time according to Shapiro.
Shapiro explains, “The training schedule is as serious or as fun as you want it to be.” He adds, “You can also wakesurf, wakeskate, ski, tube, or whatever... we're all about havin’ fun.”
Once rider egos have reached sizable proportions, students can be humbled by a 70' Rainbow Slider, an A Frame, and a kicker. If a guest is looking for some extreme sport off the water, they can tear it up on The Spot's own half pipe. Boredom is not an option.
A side from the industry’s best equipment and expert instruction; Ride The Spot offers tremendous accommodations. A 1000 sq. ft. guest house has been fully remodeled to comfort visitors with a hot tub, big screen TV, DVD player, video games and high speed internet access so guests can stay connected.
If that is not enough, each night guests are treated to a gourmet meal catered by Ride The Spot's own private chef. Breakfast and lunch are also provided. The living quarters also offer a fully stocked kitchen so guests can whip up their own snack anytime of the day or night.
