Brian K. Smith Leads Proline Ropes

Proline Rope Technology is pleased to announce Brian K. Smith will be the companies new Product Manager.
Some of you might know Brian since he has been involved in the water sports and the industry for almost 10 years. Brian says “My love for water sports showed through when I was 16 and looking for a job. I started working at Connelly finishing and tuning wakeboards just so I could have an inside track on getting a sponsorship with CWB.” A year later he moved to inside sales at Connelly, taking orders, working in Customer Service and even helping out R&D every now and then. In 1998-1999 he left Connelly as an employee but continued his services as a National Team rider and attended tournaments in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. He also taught on the water demos and sold products at boat shows. Currently, Brian lives on Big Lake in Mount Vernon, Washington about 50 miles north of Seattle and is an instructor at a ski and wakeboard school on the lake and is still a National Team Rider with CWB.
As the new Proline Product manager his main focus will be a new look and feel that will make our products the best and most innovative in the industry. Brian says: “Keeping margins high for dealers is key to the success of the ropes and I will be actively pursuing new ways to increase the margins and quality of Proline. I am very enthusiastic about my new role in the industry and I am looking forward to hearing feed back on what you would like to see change with our company.”
Brian has also been appointed as the CWB, Connelly Skis, Proline and SWS Sales Representative for all the dealers in Washington and Oregon.
