ABILENE, TEXAS – August 24, 2004 – Professional wakeboarder and TeamTigé member Tino Santori won the Vans® WWA Wakeboard National Championship at the Precedent Office Park in Indianapolis, Ind., on August 20-21. Additionally, TeamTigé rider Rusty Malinosky finished eighth in a field that featured nearly 300 wakeboarders.

Santori adds this National Championship to previous victories at the 2002 U.S. Junior Men’s Nationals, the 2002 U.S. OPEN and the Kelowna, Canada, Pro Wakeboard Tour stop in 2003.

Santori trains behind the Tigé 22V, which is equipped with the patented ConvexV continuous rocker hull and patented Tigé Adjustable Performance System (TAPS2). The Tigé 22V is American Wakeboard Association approved for contest use.

The Vans® WWA Wakeboard National Championship is the final competition in the Vans® Triple Crown of Wakeboarding, a series of three championship-caliber wakeboarding stops which has become one of the largest wakeboarding series in the sport.
