Malinoski Wins at Wakestock

ABILENE, TEXAS – August 17, 2005 – TeamTigé member Rusty Malinoski won the Pro Expression Session at Wakestock on August 11-14 in Toronto Islands, Ontario, Canada. With the win, Malinoski moved into second place in the WWA World Series of Wakeboarding season standings.

The victory is the young Canadian’s third of the season. Malinoski earned his first-ever win as a professional earlier this year in the Australian Pro Tour of Wakeboarding’s Port Macquarie Ride N Slide on Feb 13 and followed it with a victory at the Reno, Nev., Pro Wakeboard Tour stop on June 3-5.

Additionally, Malinoski’s TeamTigé teammates Tino Santori and Daniel Watkins finished the weekend in fifth and sixth place, respectively.
