Gators Win Collegiate Wakeboard Nationals

The University of Florida wakeboard team won the national title at the 15th Collegiate Wakeboard National Championships, May 29-31, at Cypress Black Bayou Recreation Area in Benton, La.. It is the Gators’ first national wakeboard title since winning back-to-back titles in 2008 and 2009. The Gators tallied 645 points in winning over runner-up and 2014 champion, Arizona State (485 points), and third-place Oklahoma State (353 points). Thirteen teams competed in the event.
